About Alysa VandenHeuvel

Alysa VandenHeuvel is a visual and performing artist based in Gunnison, CO, with extensive experience in nonprofit management and arts education. As the Founder and Owner of Studio Snowglobe Photography, she has developed a successful business specializing in fine art and commercial photography. In her previous role at the Gunnison Arts Center, Alysa served in various capacities, including Program & Gallery Director, where she managed both performing and visual arts programming, financial operations, marketing efforts, and human resource functions. She holds a BFA in Photography with a minor in Business Administration from Western Colorado University. She is currently excited to be back at the Gunnison Arts Center to help lead the organization through the next exciting phase. Alysa is known for her leadership, creativity, and commitment to fostering community engagement through the arts. While not engaged at the GAC, she can be found snowboarding, photographing people and nightlife, hiking or enjoying live music with her husband.
