This immersive program casts up to 45 students in a fully staged production, complete with costumes, sets, and lights—created in just five days!
The week kicks off on Monday at 9:30 AM with check-in and auditions begin promply at 10:00 AM, where every registered student is guaranteed a role, even if its backstage or director roles. Throughout the week, students will engage in rehearsals, theatre games, and creative activities, all leading up to three public performances at the end of the week. Max 45 students. When students are not in rehearsal time with the Camp Directors, they will be emersed in art activites and games throughout the week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for young performers interested in acting, singing, dancing, and even backstage tech roles. No prior theatre experience is necessary—just enthusiasm and a willingness to participate!
In this original musical version, the Little Mermaid longs to leave her underwater world in search of adventure. With the help of her bubbly friends—the sea creatures, the Manta Rays, the Seashore Singers, and more—she rises to the surface and into a world she’s never known. Along the way, she discovers important lessons about friendship, self-confidence, and staying true to oneself. Filled with humor, music, and imagination, this charming retelling offers a fresh take on a beloved classic.
